W. L. French is hosting an on-site blood drive this spring in partnership with Mass General Hospital and the Kraft Group. If you’re eligible, this is a simple way to make a real impact—without leaving the office.

Blood donations support patients in urgent need of care—everything from emergency surgeries to cancer treatment to trauma cases. One donation can help multiple patients, and local blood supplies depend on steady participation from community partners like W. L. French.

What to Expect

Donating is straightforward and typically takes under an hour from start to finish (including check-in and recovery time). The process includes:

• A quick screening and health questions
• The donation itself
• A short snack/rest break afterward

If you’ve never donated before, don’t overthink it—staff will walk you through every step.

How to Register

Registration information will be shared soon. Once sign-ups open, we’ll post the link and instructions so you can reserve a time slot during the drive.

Helpful Prep Tips

A few basics can make your donation smoother:

• Hydrate the day before and the day of
• Eat a solid meal beforehand (don’t donate on an empty stomach)
• Bring an ID
• Wear sleeves that are easy to roll up
